So, I actually received these on April 10th, but the clothing is all still seasonal, so I'm going to do a review anyway!
If you're not sure what Stitch Fix is, feel free to check out the first few paragraphs of my first review.
Otherwise, let's get down to business!
(By the way, if your brain just read that last sentence and then immediately followed it with "to defeat the Huns" then we are destined to be friends. I'm Grady - Nice to meet ya!)
The glorious box (and some mad photoshop skillz on my part)!
- DownEast Tobi Cropped Lurex Cardigan, $58.00
Verdict?: Sent Back.
- 41Hawthorn Floral Crinkle Scarf, $28.00
The second that I saw that I got a scarf, well, I'll be honest - I was disappointed. It was a lovely scarf, but unless I'm trying to keep snow from going down my parka, I just have no interest in scarves.
- Jack by BB Dakota Evian Striped Skater Dress, $65.00
Okay, so I was really excited about this when I saw it in the box, but the jersey material was SUPER clingy. Like...Wowzer. The fabric felt soft, but I did not feel comfortable in this.
Verdict?: Sent Back
- Peppermint Spence Peter Pan Collar Hi-Lo Dress, $48.00
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color of (and collar on) this dress! However, I wasn't 100% sold on the Hi-Low look.
- Black Sheep Mily Floral Pleated Tie-Waist Dress, $88.00
Overall I would say that my second fix was pretty good, but I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped to be, especially since they had some information about my tastes from my reviews of my first fix. HOWEVER, I was still happy to find something that I loved (and I've worn the dress a few times since, always receiving compliments, so that's a plus!).
I have another box coming in a few days, and I'm excited to see how that will work out, but I also don't know that I will keep doing this with any kind of regularity if it doesn't start to feel a little bit more personalized. But, I mean, I'm a reasonable lady so I can expect it to take awhile before I start to LOVE everything in every Stitch Fix box.
So that's where I'm at right now! And, just to be 100% clear, I am not affiliated with or in any way paid/sponsored/supported by Stitch Fix, I just think it's a really fun company and I enjoy reviewing my Fixes! However - full disclosure, as always - if you use the links in this post rather than Googling to find the website, I will earn credit towards future Fixes.
Thanks for reading!
